DUE TO THE CHALLENGE OF MAINTAINING SOCIAL DISTANCING ON THE BOAT,
WE HAVE SUSPENDED TOURS FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON.
THIS WAS OBVIOUSLY A TOUGH CALL AS WE LOVE SHARING OUR STORY AND FARM WITH OUR OYSTER LOVING FRIENDS. BUT WE HAVE TO PUT THE HEALTY AND SAFETY OF OUR CLIENTS AND STAFF FIRST.
I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ALL IN 2021.
WHILE IT'S NOT THE SAME, WE CAN AT LEAST SATISFY OYSTER CRAVINGS WITH SHIPPED OYSTERS.

OYSTER TOUR FACTS

Hop aboard our workboat, Oys-Tour, and we will take you, and up to five others, for a tasting tour of our farm!

We'll meet in front of the Harbor Master's house at Pine Point in Scarborough - just 20 minutes from Portland and 40 from Kennebunkport. (Google map search Pine Point Fisherman's Co-op in Scarborough for directions)

First we'll visit the nursery where you can see the baby oysters feasting away then we see how our different farming techniques produces two different oysters: NONESUCH and Abigail Pearls!  You may see many incredible co-residents of our estuary including Bald Eagles, Sturgeon, and adorable Harbor Seals.

Guests can have a hand at harvesting and shucking their own oysters, or let us do it for them. In any case, we will shuck a generous half-dozen oysters per guest, right out of the water. You will never taste oysters fresher! We provide oysters, lemons, and mignonette sauce; you bring your favorite pairing beverage.

Land-lovers take note: we will always be a stone's throw from shore and all of our drivers are Coast Guard Certified!

  • Coast Guard rules: max 6 people per tour (small people count as people)

PLEASE NOTE:

When booking, the number of tickets available on any tour will reflect the REMAINING seats available. If you pick a tour time and only two seats are available for purchase, that's because there are only two seat left. These are very strict Coast Guard imposed limitations that we respect to the letter.
