Captain Edwin (Ed) Jacobs

Adam joined our team in the fall of 2018 and has the distinction of being the only staff member EVER to have worked on an oyster farm prior to joining NONESUCH! In addition to being something of a champion shucker, Adam set up and maintains our dealership, interfaces with our clients, and is the saving grace on our winter ski team!

Kevin joined NONESUCH in the summer of 2018 and brought his land farming and foraging instincts with him. And an environmental science degree. A natural sea farmer, Kevin has also become something of a self-taught database manager and mechanic! Not to mention the team photographer, social media maven, and our primary quality control manager!

Ed became our tour captain in the spring of 2018 and has delighted hundreds of oyster lovers aboard Oyster-tour with his sea-faring tales, hospitality, and great shucking skills! In the off season, he's become an indispensable part of the team, bringing new harvest methods and salty wisdom to our crew.

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HAS HELPED US OVER THE YEARS

THE SCARBOROUGH COMMUNITY

Nonesuch couldn't have happened without the support of the Scarborough community. The city has supported our activities and the Pine Point lobstermen, fishermen, and clam diggers have never failed to help us when my boat won't start or falls off a trailer! I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to farm our new aquaculture lease for years to come. Thanks as well to Pine Point Fisherman's Co-op, Ken's, Bailey's Lobster Pound, The Scarborough Land Trust, The Friends of Scarborough Marsh, SEDCO, Black Point Inn, The Shellfish Conservation Committee and so many more for your support.
